Kotlin is an interesting solution, but Java will still be more popular.

java is still better dont forget those api and upgradation of jdk by oracle. yeah kotlin is similar but the community for java is way more but yeah change is the only constant but as of know i would like to stick to java and will also try to learn a bit about kotlin.
