Why can't we write the code instead of fill in blanks I like the app though not hurt feelings

While coding on the phone may be a little time-consuming, there is nothing impractical with writing a new code to learn something whenever something new pops up. Heck, this is how I learnt everything I know. This is also how it works on other sites. However, this may not be as feasible on the mobile app, if we were to replace every fill-in-the-blanks with writing full-length codes.

Sololearn server didn't support swift, because it need mac(apple) hardware and software. i guest Sololearn using linux.

@Saad S. Al-Sabbagh you're right, but codeplayground is a thing. I think the course would be better if you could run the code and it checks it, like on some other learning sites. it's not impractical enough to not do it.

@Ahri Fox It becomes impractical if it asks me to write a new code each time I read / learn about something new just to pass a test.
