why you start learning programming?

Question

for me:
because i want to be a part of the new world i want to have place on that ship and to prove to my self rather than any one else that i can learn it and i can have a place on that ship.there also another thing i think all programmers and new people have in common and it is "THE LOVE TO BE IN CONTROL".
it is not easy and it is not difficult.for all sololearners and for my self don't give up and
take your place in the new world ship

It started with the desire to change something in games. I was trying and trying and I couldn't made anything. So I got interested in that how to make your own games, but I had not any knowledge in that matter
And some day my Uncle instelled on PC my first compiler, for 'Pascal'! :D
And that is how it started, from Pascal through Batch, JS, HTML, CSS, AutoIt, PHP, SQL to C++. I was keen on games and now I make my own ones :)

hmm, i have 14 years, and y mi country (Colombia) we need programers, and i need work, mi uncle is programer and help mi to learn to programing (sorry but mi inglish is not thhe best)
