Why is kotlin output all text?

Ttl Noob to kotlin, but when does it look like an app or if it doesn't, how do you know that it's working.

I don't really understand what you mean by "look like an app". Also, you should know it's working by getting the output you desire.

I believe the only coding in the Sololearn playground that has a graphical output is the Web one. The rest are all console/text outputs.

You need another app to do that... the "full app writing package" is Google's Android Studio. You can do it all there.
