Deletion of answered questions by their creator shortly after the solution is found.

I would like to address something here that may not be entirely on topic. Hope for understanding. Quite very often I notice lately that questions that have been answered and where you could be helped in finding the solution, are deleted shortly after by the questions creators. Find it a pity because they can not be found for other members of the community, and later helping in similar situations. Did something come my way and new rules have been created for this?

the issue happens also to me from time to time. i personally can not agree to the behaviour of deleting a post. we are a community, and as such we should have the right to benefit from the knowledge of others. sure - currently it is up to the questioner, to delete *his* post. but if *me* and *other people* have spend really some time and effort by answering, testing and helping the asker, it is also *my* or *their* work that disappears for ever.

Not every thread will be helpful later on... If a user decides to delete their thread, it is up to them.

JaScript I have noted over the last couple of years that some users delete their question when the query has been resolved. It is not common, but also not recent.
