Which one is better? C# or Java?

Question

I'm IT student and I had finished my first year in college....I want to improve my knowledge and my skills by learning new language... .Some senior engineers adviced me to learn C# and build my first project ...but I have Java in my Collectible decision😅....,so seniors engineers what's your opinion...?
Learning Java and and get two birds in one stone...or learning C# ?
Note : I have humble skills in C++

Every programming language has different applications. And can be used in many other ways. U can prefer any one of the language at a time according to your interest. For example C# is mostly used for the game development & Java can be used for application development.

Sometimes there are need of learning languages like this language is used in future project which you want to prepare or may be in your college one-two language is compulsory too know. Everyone will suggest you different language according to there experience now it's your responsibility that how to choose the correct one to Learn. Do some research or follow your interest.... I think this is the best.
Or later you can learn other language also.
