Why dont I get XP?

If I take a shortcut, I "completed" the lessons before the shortcut, right? So I should get the XP for them, right? If I actually finish one of the lessons I "completed" (trough the shortcut) I get 10 bits (the purple blocks), which I only should get, after finishing a lesson for the first time. So clearly SoloLearn doesn't count taking a shortcut as finishing the actual lesson, which we know because we get bits for that. But we should also get XP if we get the bits, but we dont, it doesnt make sense (I only tried that with java, I dont know about the other courses)

Maybe because of the leaderboard? Do they want us to actually finish the lessons to get xp instead of taking shortcuts for programming languages we already know? It is that what makes the most sense In my opinion

You get XP for lesson quizzes that you have completed. Why should you get XP if you didn't do the quiz?

Lisa shouldnt I get (at least) 10 XP for doing the shortcut quiz? I mean if you see it like that, then I should also get the XP for completing the quiz, after using the shortcut or redoing the whole lesson.
