Java vs C++, which one is better to learn first for placements.

I have a question regarding, C++ and Java, i wanted to learn a new language, which would be better for placements and learning too.

It is not a fair question. These languages are typically used for different purposes, by different companies. So this may depend on your interest as well. You can achieve the best results always, if you love what you do.

If you are particularly trying to optimize for placement options, maybe you should start by looking at job listings in your area (or wherever you want to work) and see which language is in demand.

If you absolutely must choose between these two, I would pick Java, in my opinion it gives you broader opportunities.
but ultimately you might end up learning both, or even working with a totally different language.
