How good can sololearn get you in coding ?

Is this app enough on its own to help you become skilled enough for a job in programming , or is it more like a introduction instead ? Also is c# better to learn after javascript or the other way around ?

I'd say its more like an introduction. This isn't because you're not getting enough of the information about the language (for some languages here), there's enough info in the courses to make you a decent (amature) programmer. I actually think the problem is there's to much information been given in such a short period of time. You cannot memorize everything you just looked at in the course just by looking at it once. You really need to practice and apply it yourself to fully understand. Though, there's still some things the course could go more in-depth with. If you're just streaming through the courses I can garuntee you won't be able to apply any of the info that came later in the course to a real problem without help from the Internet. Getting a certificate is def. not enough to work for a company, you need a real degree for that. (most of the time). But you could certainlly start trying to make games :D. And c# / Javascript are completely different, even if they have slightly similar syntax. Javascript is for web development. c# can be for game development with engines like Unity.

Using Sololearn is a good start. I am sure you will need to gain more experience, through helping with and creating your own projects. Many say that you will need things similar to that, to add to your portfolio. To showcase your experience and skills as a programmer.

Thanks for info everyone :). I will make sure to take my time and get myself to do projects after every chapter of code so I can learn it better .
