I'm a beginner and totally new at coding....which languages should I learn first and what books can I read to further my understanding...and what does it take to be good.!?

@Lucas, coding is a verb for writing code

so, when you write a markup language (e.g. HTML and XML), a script language (e.g. JS), a preprocessor language (e.g. PHP), and a programming language (e.g. Python and Java), its called coding.

Start to learn html and css if you want to create a website. Else i think python can be a good start to do really coding (html is not really coding ).
