It seems that python will become important for AI. C biotope will become standard for embedded systems R for Big Data but as vanilla language - still Java that is my opinion.

I don't understand because your title of says "more importance" and the body of the question says "Easier" so I am not sure. So I'm going to answer both :D While both are important, if you are wondering which is more important, it all depends on what you define as "important" and what you are using it for. If you are trying to make something object oriented, then Java is better than Python, at least in my opinion (I never tried Python though) However, If you are trying to make a full on application, You could be using either language, it is totally up to you. As for "Python" is easier, I kind of agree because when I was deciding what language to learn first, though I didn't choose it (I chose JavaScript) I saw Python so many times because it helps people learn the general structure of programming. However, me learning Java at the moment, I can tell you that it is not difficult for me because I already had a little bit of knowledge of what Java is. Basically what I am trying to say is that it is totally prefenced and that there is no wrong answer. In my opinion, I say Python may be easier, but I can not say for sure because I never used Python or tried learning it, But I do know that for what I want to do, includes a lot of objected things; Because of this, I think Java is a lot more important for me because it is more object oriented than Python.
