If you want to take the way of web design JavaScript then CSS. But if you want something else do C++.

If you want to carry on with web designing, I suggest you learn CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, SQL, and then anything else you fancy😉

If you want to continue the web programming languages, go with CSS or JavaScript.

If you want to go with something else, go with Java, Python, or Ruby.

I would personally say learn Javascript next because if you well equip with Javascript, learning Java will be much easier. Its kinda like killing two birds with one stone if you want to start developing applications of course but then again, Css is pretty fun and easy.
