You can use C++ for almost any kind of applications. It's easier to answer where c++ can't be used, and I cant even come up with such examples from the top of my mind. There are plenty of cases, where C++ usually wouldn't be a good language to choose, like most mobile app development, web, most of scientific computation and data analysis cases… Oh yeah, you can't use C++ for web frontend, afaik.
