Who has some experience in setting up their own webserver? What steps does one have to take?

I am planning on setting up a webserver using Flask on a Raspberry Pi to keep it low budget.

Any other suggestions for a first try?

I have setup NodeJS on my Raspi before, not so complicated, I got all linux setup help from digitalOcean.

What do think about OVH performance? Any down time? I am thinking to subscribe their VPS.

I think they are really good, but they don't are perfect, like everythings as their, but I prefer use OVH
