Which language is better for scientific usage?
I'm studying physics in University , so I want to know which language I need to study for applying my skills in science. I'm now learning Python, because I also want to get involved in machine learning researches. Will you suggest me any languages in scientific applications ?

As for which I'd learn first, it would just depend which classes I'm currently taking and what I'll be taking next. MATLAB may help you out greatly with some of the work you'll have in school, so that's always a plus if you already know it. Whereas C++ you may not have to use right away while still in school.
Honestly, depending upon how much time you have to study outside of what you're taking in school, I'd take the time to learn both of them equally. Everything that's been mentioned in this thread can potentially be useful for you.

If you learn C++ ...Python is not a big deal at all

But it will help to develop your skills and logical thinking

yeah but python syntax is easier to read . I think it would be better after python learn c++ . C++ will deepen algorithmic thinking.
