Write code on paper?
Does anyone else get out a pen and notebook and write code by hand when stuck on a problem? I find myself doing that quite often and it brings a whole other level of clarity for me and my project. Anyone else love writing code down on paper? :)

I haven't written source on paper. I might write pseudocode on paper, or a flow chart of the algorithm. more often I will write down a more technical description of the problem or the result. Most of the time if I am writing on paper, it's because at least part of the idea better explained by pictures than words.

I like the idea of using Pseudo code and flowchart on paper. I would follow this up with coding in my favorite Programming Environment.

I don't write exact code onto a paper (usually) but having paper to write down methods to attempt a difficult problem can really help.

Whenever I am writing a graphics application, making a webpage, and sometimes even designing an icon, I draw it out on a whiteboard, and sometimes I will write out an algorithm in pseudo-code, but I don't think I have ever written valid code on paper.
