PYTHON OR JAVA???

Question

I recently started to work on a project where i used java as my coding language.Later i heard that python would be better n itz a blooming one.
If so' then how many days would i require to become a perfect python programmer???
Does it hold any similarities with java??

they are both object oriented so yes, with one major difference, python is widely used in web development while java is not
