Ruby or Python

Question

I have noticed that syntax in Ruby is much similar with python but the logic is way different . . . so which language would be profitable for me to work on???

If all you care about is profit, I'd say Python. Though you can make just as good money with Ruby via Ruby on Rails. Unlike Python, Ruby on Rails is pretty much the only way to make job money.

Language wise, Pythons a tiny bit faster, with more library support. Ruby has a bit better syntax. Ruby is a underdog right now, I hope it doesn't die.
