It depends. Ive been at it for 9 years on and off and its the most fun ive ever had. How good do you want to be at Web development depends on what your goals are... why do you want to be a developer? Money, Fame, Girls, or world domination, revolution? What are you willing to accomplish? Im in it to help people use technology to better their lives, thats my goal for coding whats yours?

just 2 months and see my codes! and I made my own website too and hosted it with custom domain name. thx to *SoloLearn *codecademy (can skip it though) *w3shcools (spent a lot of time here, but now outgrown it) *Mozilla Developers network ( now I stay here) *stackoverflow (when nothing makes sense and I need answers)

its more than enough to become an expert ...3months in solo learn I started coding with my writing materials before I got a pc recently
