I'm relatively new to coding, and I'm in a pretty terrible spot in my life so I'm trying to keep my mind off of everything by learning, anything that could help me learn or practice programming languages would be greatly appreciated, any languages.

I don't have a spare lappy, but you might want to consider acquiring a Raspberry Pi - it's pretty affordable and portable enough (USD 35 for the latest version, it's buffed enough :) You just have to plug in a keyboard, mouse and some kind of an HDMI or VGA screen, but those are also rather inexpensive:

I'm familiar with HTML, css , and I just started studying JavaScript, but without a full sized keyboard it takes me a day or more to write any significant number of lines. any suggestions?
