Which programming language do you prefer for machine learning? Python or R

I prefer Python though

Python could do all the jobs, but when come to big data processing, execution speed is the crucial part. With ML programming languages like Julia that was built based on data science from ground up, it could process data in fast parallel processing, and its math-friendly syntax enable us to write effective data codes in short time. However Julia is still young, adoption time is needed. Sooner or later specific ML languages would go into mainstream soon.

If you need a language particular for ML, you should choose the languages specifically designed to build ML like Julia and Scala languages

@Calvin, I found most of the people those are dealing with Datascience or ML, prefers python or R or Both. Very few recommends to start with Julia or Scala or lisp etc
