practice. i know this sounds redundant but it really helps. Build a portfolio for yourself demonstrating your knowledge. make websites and programs in the languages you know and take this portfolio to your potential employers.

Not needed but it will help further iterate your in depth knowledge. From what I've seen in the past few years, applied knowledge will go a lot further than documented knowledge. It's easy for people to cheat through school (not saying you do at all) but when your in an interview and the interviewer hands you a computer and says fix this code, will you be ready? This is where practice by building a portfolio helps.
