That highly depends on what your job is. If you have some free time, an hour a day should be enough to learn programming. Of course, more free time means faster progress. Lots of people learn programming while working in a different industry, because they wanna switch jobs or maybe just because they wanna get into programming as a hobby. If you're determined and have at least a little bit of free time on your hands, it should be possible.
