I kind of disagree, and believe that one is best when he/she is on his own. After all, there is no guarantee that the two minds will not destructively interfere with each other...

Why would you downvote somebody just because they offered to help? I think this downvote thing is getting a bit ridiculous. The downvotes should be used for people who spam the site and those who on purposely give the wrong information, not those trying to help.
