Dual core processor, 1 gb RAM,2.37 ghz. is that ok? if I want to learn and earn?

Doesn't take a powerful machine to code. It's literally just editing text - you'll be fine. Greater CPUs will help in overall performance of programs and will decrease load/compile times, whereas greater GPUs will help in the graphical aspects of things, again, increasing performance and decreasing wait times.
