How can I learn more efficiently ?

Question

Hello, I am from Indonesian. I am a student who interested to learn programming language.

Sometimes, I have some difficilties in learn programming language.

Sometimes, I asked to my self. What is it for ? How can I make that ? Why must I use that ? And something like that.

How can I learn more efficiently ?

Also, I think the lesson in sololearn is not complete.
Can anybody tell me where I can learn programming language more complete ?

1. You already said you don't understand what you've already learned, so why would you want something "more complete" when you don't understand the basics quite yet?

2. How long have you been programming for? Based upon your profile, I'd say about 2 weeks? Programming isn't something that you read once and you're magically an amazing programmer, especially not after 2 weeks. Like most subjects, it's something that you learn, continue to learn, and continue to practice for years. As time goes on and you continue to use it, you'll better understand it and how it applies to nearly everything you can think of.

3. "How can I learn more efficiently?"

This is what I do. Read through the ENTIRE language, even if you don't fully understand it yet. Then practice the things that you did learn and remember. Go back and read the ENTIRE language again, but this time write down any concepts you still don't fully understand. Afterward you'll want to take those notes and go thoroughly research all of the concepts to the best of your ability. Then you'll want to practice those concepts so you can see it in action and learn from experience of it. Repeat this process until you've mastered it.

Just practice and try out new things. I finished a book on python in a day(should have taken my time but oh well) and then used what I learned to make a little game. If I had an issue I just kept trying until I got it right. But for you I would suggest to practice, and if you don’t understand something, take a break and come back later with a free mind. Works for me every time. Hope this helps and happy coding.👍
