Conceptual design is a high level model of the database you will create. It's most often done by creating an E-R diagram which maps out how all the entities interact, and what attributes wach has. Logical design is moving from an E-R diagram into schemas, which add data structure and integrity into your E-R diagram (they also look a lot different). Physical design is the implementation and building of the database. All of that summed up is: conceptual is your idea, logical is figuring out how to make your idea work, and physical is finally building your idea.
