@Rahul Trust me, I've met plenty of programmers that can't manage logical and abstract thinking. lol :D Not everyone is good at their job. You're right though. If you have a good understanding of math, you could easily pick up programming since it's mostly just math concepts you're sticking together.

@rahul From what I've seen in Jakob's answers he has a long experience in this field. I don't think he is creating fake stories. It's absolutely possible to get a job you are actually not qualified for. I've actually seen this in different workplaces (not related to programming though, since I'm no professional programmer ^^) Regarding the "math<->programming" correlation: A lot mathematicians work in computer science related fields after graduating. Kinda proves the statement.

im not saying he is making up fake stories......but srsly no qualifications and they get job while a lot of good programmers are jobless sounds a bit hard to digest.....
