What do expert coders think of newbies/noobs?😅

ok, so its been a half week on SoloLearn, started taking coding seriously for career but still M a noob,

learned to print, read values and make functions in c++...

TBH just finished schooling with accounts/commerce major! and slightly good at math. but when Im asked to code for a math problem brain just freezes and get scared too much.
what are your thoughts!!! :) 😃😃😃😳

You are the reason I'm here. Shortly after joining, I realized that I could learn more elsewhere (I was looking to learn Java.) So I stopped for around a year. However, I came back. Initially, because it was a convenient place to run my Java code. However, I found that I enjoyed helping the newbie's so instead of other things most days and running my code a day or two a week. I'm now got 160 day streak going and spend more time answering question than coding.

Seriously, I'm perfectly fine with noobs. Everyone is new when they first started, including all of the experts, so we've all been in that exact same position of our journey also. Personally, I get really happy when I see new programmers and people showing interest in programming. When I originally started, I didn't have others who I could talk to about this stuff.

Just keep pushing on and just like all things, you'll eventually be an expert if you don't give up on it. Your other major could really come in handy and that end of the programming spectrum is really profitable.

Anyways, best of luck to you! It'll become easier as times goes on and less brain freezes. lol

honestly, I can get frustrated, and even feel sometimes they just won't get far if they don't already understand certian things.

...but, sometimes they get far and surprise me with what they can acomplish.

like another said, we were all new once. so learn, experiment, and practice by coding and running. so long as you keep at it, and try and code new things as much as possible, you can leave newbie status. you may even feel a shift, that anything is possible. you may not understand how to implement math now, but keep bashing your head on it, you'll learn how to do it. then you can get to coding some fun algorithms with the math knowledge you have.

I think I ll always be noob , and will always find someone with crazy skills who d make me feel noob again 😔 and from whom I can learn 😃.

it's like Dragonballz , keep exploring new fighters and new universes to test ur limit and train harder

I'm a noob to I guess, I mean I'm only 11 and just started coding last year. When I read comments and look at pics of peoples profiles I realize some people here are adults which makes me feel good about myself since I'm a kid, but then I see something that makes me fell like a huge noob in coding. So I say don't worry if u feel like a noob, everyone starts somewhere and I u should have fun with it!
