For those of you who may or may not remember "Logan's Run" or half a dozen other shows and or cartoons like "The Jetsons" And for all those engineers working at Amazon, Google, Microsoft / Bing, and the hundreds / thousands of other companies involved. This topic is awesome in what is coming to life.

Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence chases the ultimate goal of making a machine which understands things better . The human knowledge and perception has to be translated to machines. Machines ,by definition , are not bound by physical constraints of human beings. Tough jobs with better understanding by machines offers immense scope for industries to get better off each other and even introduce entirely new products. Thus the demand and attraction to machine learning and artificial intelligence. - it's the future.

it's only now the machines have the power, the network and cheap storage to be able to begin a true machine learning program.

It's interesting, it sounds fun, and there are lots of cool projects you can do with machine learning and AI. Also I hear the job market for knowing those things isn't too shabby ;) (For me it's the coolness factor......and I needed a Senior Project idea)
