u mean open world games ..? it's like GTA...bully ......Rockstar games...etc....it's a open world game we can do anything like...exploring the world on the game(most of the things) but in other games it depends upon mission only we can only play missions.. we can't explore........

https://code.sololearn.com/WU4a07Dv94yX/?ref=app that’ll explain it for you. But basically there are four different “biomes” that each has a hidden object.

Thanks! Do you happen to know a good sight where I can learn as much as possible? And you are told of the three objects but you don’t know where they are or anything.

The open world title means, that the level itself is not tubeish', you are not restricted to follow the "road" - like in GTA or Skyrim, they are well-known open world games. There is story, places to do the quests, but you move freely inside the world, go whereever you want. Most MMORPG games are also open world games (like WoW, Tera, Guild Wars, ArcheAge, jut to name a few. Check their maps. That is why they are open world games.)

But you can search for Open World Games, I think even Wikipedia has a page only just about that. EDIT: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_world

I think it (the size) does matter, you cannot call a game open world, if all the events play inside one room or small house, or even a castle (considering it is not a huuuge castle). In an open world game you must feel free and able to explore the world. But for indepth exact meaning, there is wikpedia :) Generally you have a kickass big environment to play inside, rarely broken by loading screen, or it does not seems like it teleports you to other location.

So your world is broken up to four parts. That's not a problem i think, in MMORPG's there is a typical thing to be continents separated from each other, or different realms. It depends on the kind of how these parts are structured. If it is more like you start in a village, enter a cave, go through chambers, and more chambers, and then boss, then it is linear, and not an open world. Open world is more like... you are at the village, someone tells about a cave, and you go find the cave. It is not directly placed ahead of you to just go there and nowhere else, but more realistically you must find your way there.

Good site... I learned programming from tutorials on the net. Practise the feature you learn immediately. Not in you plan, in your game, but alone that feature. Make a project or more just to play with the code of the given language. Programming books are cool too! Not dry, programming books are good to read, believe me. It makes a base for your knowledge, and that knowledge will be great quality. As for Unity, you MUST check Unity Learn moduls (on the unity webpage, or google it). There are game projects shown how they can be made. Follow the tuts, do the same in Unity what you see in the video, you will learn a lot. It is a must-have for unity, because it teaches many unity-specific stuff.

Then check some reviews on programming books, who likes which. I can say hungarian books only... but programming books are usually worth it. It cannot be a go-to-bin romance with a trash story. It contains valid information, just pick a common one.
