I start few years ago with "Site du Zéro" now OpenClassRoom.
I didn't like JavaScript, at this time.
After, i learn seriously JavaScript with Codecademy and practice. Then, i up my skill with sololearn and freecodecamp.
I use too, codeschool.
And, youtuber for frameworks and many other things.
Because I learn algorithm and code before JavaScript, i learn js in few days.

I started learning JavaScript when I was 13 and I took courses at Codecademy back when it was still free, then after completing their courses on it in a few months I started studying web-based game development for a couple years. By 16 I felt that I had mastered it and I've made a few 2D game engines in JavaScript along with experimenting with a few 3D engines.
So I'd say to really know the ins and outs of JavaScript, be fluent with most of it's features and know how it works under the hood and on different browsers it took me about 2 years.
