Calm down, things like this happen, this is how we learn, by solving problems right? I once had the same problem with XAMPP but it was on an XP machine, older system, I get to solve it by installing the Redistributable C runtime from Microsoft website directly, but I forgot the address for download.

Have you tried to reinstall with admin right as I suggested? how did it go, don't give up now : )
