1/2=0 because it isn't double integer. anything number in zero step is 1 (Sorry for my English)

in python2 its 1, in python3 its 3.0. in python 2, if x and y are both integer in x/y, then the operator / will work as integer division, which means 1/2 will be 0. try 9**(1.0/2)

I didn't understand how 9**(1/2) = 3.0 either. I only know it's the right answer by using the calculator as in 9^0.5 = 3.0
