I just can not understand how it is not understood that we can not learn without "Try it yourself". The code must be touched.

Some people have different learning methods. Personally I prefer to write code from scratch, but I agree. It's always good to at least see what the code is so you can understand how it works.

I prefer to play around with what I've learned by making something different. Though the 'try it yourself' is a great way to see the end result, unless you try modifying the code, it won't show much else.
With the 'try it yourself' here, though, you could do just that, lay around with the code to see what you can and can't do. Better than a lot of places I've seen. A lot better.
