Which degree is better to obtain?

A computer science or software engineering degree in terms of business,health,employment rates etc on a scale of 10yrs from now

Computer Science is great and my preference. The reality is that you can pick ANY of the various angles of this field and you'll be successful; all of it is in high demand and all of it pays pretty nice. Of course some pay more than others (which is only reason I mentioned the finance thing), but they all pay good by most standards. To put it into perspective, I've seen many companies in my area that range from about 70ish (entry level) to 140ish (senior). I'm not sure how rich you are already, but that's pretty good pay for doing something fun and easy once you know how to do it.

I've been programming for the past 19-20 years already and this is my best advice for you. During this time I've stuck my hands in as much stuff as I could and my journey always takes me in new, exciting directions in the industry. The worst mistake I've ever made in my entire life is settling and doing something that wasn't interesting/fun for me; doing stuff I wasn't feeling passionate about. There is no greater waste of ones life and time, and no amount of money is worth it. Play around in various areas so you can see what some of your options are; often you find things you didn't expect. When you find an area that gives you that passion inside, embrace that and go in that direction. Trust me, there is nothing worse than waking up every morning, every day, every year and dreading the day ahead of you. However, if you engage into what you're passion over, you'll not only wake up exciting about starting your day, but you'll love the process of it all, which includes the more stressful moments of it. There is no better reward than ruthlessly chasing down your dreams.

As for what's going on 10 years from now, your guess is as good as mine. The only thing that I can 100% predict at the moment is a significant rise in Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augments Reality, and Machine Learning. So if you're wanting to invest in stocks or focus on future technologies, that's the way things are heading.

However, with that being said, as long as humans rely upon money, then finance will always be relevant, so that isn't going anywhere and will probably remain one of the top paying fields that you could go into.
