In my area, entry level is roughly $65k-80k and senior level is upward toward $120k-150k salary a year.

For most places in the world, you get paid really well. However, some places in the world has a big influx of people becoming programmers, which greatly devalues them. When demand is higher than supply, you get paid more. When supply is higher, you get paid less.
