Actually, I don't see a reason why networking or projects of other specialisations does not fit as a feasible suggestion. Software Engineering is required for all software projects regardless of what the software is associated with.

P.S. For you to be an undergraduate working on your final year project, I would expect you to know better to at least come up with a direction or a conceptualisation of the project which you wish to work towards realising, before asking for suggestions and just harvesting what is generously offered by the crowd. Not only it would show your effort at it, it would also help the community to help you.

Remote control for house devices like turn on/off AC, power outlet etc. You can add mobile app to control or monitoring some devices.
