Difficulties with “try it yourself” function
Has anybody else been having difficulties with the try it yourself function like connection errors because I am but everything else on here is working fine and our WiFi connection is really good. Please reply if you do have this same trouble because I don’t know what to do about it. Thank you

I gave it a quick shot and tried it myself from the Java tutorial. No issues, got redirected to the playground instantly. Although I usually have a lot of connectivity issues.

I've had issues occasionally. It appears the app times out waiting for the server to respond. I just retry until it works, which has always happened.

Just because your WiFi connection is good does _not_ mean your SoloLearn connection is good.
You may have slow internet. This is nothing to do with Wireless speed which is the signal strength between your router and devices. The internet speed is (simply put) how much data per second is travelling between your router and destination. A ping test on SL should reveal this.
But there are other factors:
*. Network congestion: from your ISP down to your router (remember N KB/s is your bandwidth, so accessing SL while torrenting the next Ubuntu DVD and having a friend watching shows on Netflix or streaming news will seem to freeze or at the least slow down SL). Your router may have too many devices, too (too many requests, doubtfully-but-possible exhausting local bandwidth if you have a local server, etc). Your ISP's traffic may be overloaded because they didn't expect a 1080p video to go viral.
*. Finally, as John mentioned, SL's server. Maybe too many people were logged in and we ended up with a delay.
Start by rebooting your router and limit it to 6 devices. Try it at another time. Login to your ISP to check traffic. Ping SL.
