Why python?

I need a detailed information on where and how python is used in software/website development process.

you can use python for back end web stuff with django. you can make scripts really quickly with python. i don't know much about its software uses, but i imagine it can be done, although it could work slower than other languages. take my opinion with a grain of salt though, since I'm just a beginner.

Python/Django can be used for server side scripting. However, python is a very general purpose language. Since it's syntax is so simple, English like, writing programs in python is a quick affair. Python is used in data science, machine learning. Even Raspberry Pi uses python for scripting. If you can learn only one programming language, make it python
