I am trying to build a new type of accounting system that does not use accounts. Instead of posting values to categories of values my idea is to: 1) identify the classes off objects in a transaction 2) Deduce and observe how they relate to other objects creating a true business model 3) Identify the drivers of the model 4) Make continuous forecasts 5) Derive financial outcomes from dates associated with the objects such as order date and payment date 6) Optimise the business model. The idea is that this can be done with AI eventually and businesses can become self driving.
