OFF TOPIC: Demotivated by other users behaviours...
1) Some people just copy your answer, and yet THEY get best answer!? Happens all the time 2) Some people expect you to be their coding slave 3) Some moderators don't moderate properly (ridiculous questions aren't taken down) It's becoming highly demotivating for me. Sick of some community members after only a week.

I’ve spent lots of time in the Q&A, and I agree with this. When I first started, the first question I ever answered was a guy who wanted me to make a login system for him. He didn’t even thank me for making him a code! I have stopped making codes for people most of the time now. As for mods, they do their best, and without them sololearn would be terrible. Don’t get demotivated, we love what you do! (And being a Q&A dude is a very rewarding job. Tons of badges, followers, and not to mention just simply helping people out! It’s a great place to be)

I can understand getting demotivated Xan. Things occasionally get to me, too. What I do is remind myself a few points:
- Odds are they don't know search exists,
- A lot are young kids,
- Others have language issues,
- Moral standards aren't the same,
- They don't know what they are asking,
- They think mastery is an hour away, and
- Since it is obvious to them, everyone must know what they are talking about.

Mods have guidelines we must follow and it is impossible to guarentee every question gets seen by a mod. If you see something that you feel must be dealt with, report it. We get reports via Discord reports channel and here.

I love those who think they can put together the next Facebook in a couple days. Most would likely give up before they had a thousand lines written. None would likely finish it.

For those "wanna be coding slaves" they're very common.Beginners who want to write awesome and impossible codes without prior knowledge.I just ignore them,and...for the mods,they..re humans not bots. They can make mistakes but most often they correct it.also I just always comment on posts regardless of whether I get best answers since most times the decision to pick a best answer is influenced by how much influence the person has,not their actual posts

You can tag any of us you think might be active at the time as an alternative. But, it shouldn't be kicking you out. Report via feedback to SoloLearn. Glitches where a retry works I see sometimes, but I've never lost app.

Xan I see you a lot on Q and A and personally, I respect your efforts... Getting demotivated because of people here would be like getting demotivated in life because people suck. Yet, we keep going, don't we?! Just do what you will, ignore what might annoy you and carry on!

@John Wells I can relate oh to well...
I have guys walk in to my office as if they own it...
As to the next Facebook - maybe the next Disqus but kids are building some amazing stuff... We have free code camps like many large cities.
As to mods - this isn't like other social media forums where 3 to 5 mods may be per thread bank.

Yes indeed. Most moderators are great, and most users. Moderating is annoyingly time intensive.
I need to redress the balance of spoonfeedig lazy people. I need to reward the people who show some hard work, before getting stuck.

John Wells, I was going to report something last night (it’s gone now) but that post glitches and kicks me out of the app. 🤔

Andrew G I totally agree and that is a reflection of real life, you need to get used to it as fast as possible...and adapt...but demotivation is a bad way of adapting in my opinion. I would choose hyper motivation as a better strategy to deal with negativity. Work harder and let them eat your dust muwahahah!
