Is flexbox the new standard? or is it better to start using the New CSS Grids

In CSS, 'usually' there are non-standards, not standards. See what will be non-standards and don't use them. Two items that you say are new, so they are great and as a result, not non-standard.

Flexboxes are great and grids too (actually, flexboxes better). You should see where do you need them. So, it's up to you.
