Sql seems to be easy but practically it is tough to remember. Why???

Practice makes perfect. If you study any other language in order to become bilingual, you have to practice it. Otherwise you will be struggle trying to memorize something at the end you will be frustrated. The same happen with SQL or any Programming language if you do not practice the commands, the statements everyday you will see at the end of your reading you will forget some percentage of what you studied. My recommendation is, download a database any (Oracle XE, MS SQL Server, MySQL or event MS Access if you have it installed on your PC, or Open Office Access from OpenOffice.org) that way you can start practicing. Remember SQL a standard, what is different between each Database is the SQL dialect for example Oracle (SQL* Plus), MS SQL Server (Transact SQL), etc. that is what vary but at the end when you learn to use and run queries, it will be easier for you to learn any other SQL dialect from another Database.

It's like saying tat building a car is difficult but taking it for a spin is easy.... same for SQL or any other database management/ programming language. its tools and syntax need to be remembered but once you do, you can use it to the fullest extent...

just give it your best shot... if u really are passionate about it then you will succeed, else you can learn enough to get by. either way its knowledge and will never go in vain

It is very easy just you need to be confident, and learn it theoretically, Try to learn it as practical as you can. It is the best habit learn faster dnt try to remember , try to execute, it is my personal experience.
