Is scratch useful?

hello! I'm a teacher and have no idea about programming... I would like to learn so I can teach my students and I wonder if learning scratch is useful or they should learn html or phyton. thank you!

hello, regarding scratch it's awesome u don't need to know any prior info, but u can mk awsm teaching materials using animated content, i love it. scratch will give u basic idea for how programs run and the best thing about scratch no written coding just drag and drop commands in the working area, it's easy to use and awesome to experiment

I have used scratch to teach my boys the basics, they really enjoy it. I am pleased to see it is being used in education 😁

definitely useful especially it is good for learning how programing languages work. I get much overview of syntax at a time without seeing overwhelming amount of texts.
