Why nowadays more and more people are using VS code?

Because it's simple to use for coding in html, css, php and js. He is rather light compare with anoter IDE such as Eclipse. It's simple to install extension for debug or testing code and more ...
I use VS code for my projects and compare to Eclipse, I gain more time to code.
(And the interface is very cool ! :))
