How to compile and run code using the Visual Studio Code.

I recently started coding so I downloaded a Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, but I can't seem to run my code all I see are the error if any. is there a way for me to run the code or do I need to get another IDE?

ofx you can run the code. what are the errors you are getting? have You created a valid project and your file extension is ok? are you debugging it? what language are You using?
