Are there successful amateurs here in SoloLearn?

Hi, I have never studied about programming, except for 1 year in high-school, learning about the basics of C++, but I forgot everything once I finished the year, I wasn't even interested...
But things have changed now and I've learned programming in java by sololearn and youtube videos and I am already quite a lot experienced with programming..
But, can you succeed without a proper education, like informatics and mathematics?

Of course you can succeed without formal education. A piece of paper doesn't necessarily mean you know more than someone without one. Many self-taught programmers are better than programmers with a college degree.
