What do you suggest for start learning about android ?

if I want to start learning android should I start with Java or jump to Kotlin? just totally new to this field

Personally, I've picked Kotlin. I never liked Java as a language and truly love Kotlin. Given how nice a language it is, I expect it to end up with the majority of future software systems, once people learn it.

Java is far more popular and used in the Android SDK so probably that. C/C++ are also good with the NDK.
