Their are mainly 2 options - 1. Hybrid (Using other languages)- Up and running very fast. Use JS, html and Adobe build. And your app is ready. 2. Native (Using java) - Setting up android studio(2gb in size), it requires quite a decent pc otherwise it works really slow. It takes quite a time. If you are new to android app development and want to get your app up and running I suggest using JS for it. Be it is really good practice wise. You can constantly monitor your app progress in browser.
